Dear compatriots!
These days, with a high spirit and an uplifting mood, our country is celebrating an unforgettable historical event that marked the beginning of a completely new era in the socio-political and spiritual-educational life of our Homeland – the thirty-second anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The team of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan sincerely congratulates all our compatriots on the glorious holiday – the 32nd anniversary of our country’s state independence.
It was on August 31, 1991, that our people gained the right to own their Homeland, their fate, and their future. The Republic of Uzbekistan – a new sovereign and independent state – appeared on the world map.
The formation and development of the national election system is directly connected with the state independence of our Homeland. During the years of independence, especially in recent years, it has been steadily developing in accordance with our national traditions and international election standards.
Important events in the political life of our country, in particular, the adoption of our updated Constitution in a nationwide referendum on April 30 of this year, and the presidential election held on July 9, once again clearly confirmed the comprehensive support of our people for the reforms aimed at creating a New Uzbekistan and the foundation of the Third Renaissance.
Our greatest and most sacred holiday – Independence Day, embodying the main idea of "For a New Life, For a New Uzbekistan!" – continues to resonate in our families and hearts. The idea of independence, the spirit of freedom, will always remain a steadfast support for our people.
May peace, tranquility, and prosperity always reign in our ever-young and unique land, and may your life and your home always be filled with joy and abundance.
We wish you great success and good luck in your efforts for the prosperity of our Homeland.
Happy Independence Day, dear compatriots!
